Albert LOEB was born on May 15, 1925, in Ludwigshafen, Germany. He arrived in France in March 1939 with a group of Jewish children in the care of the la Guette organization, later to be taken in by the OSE. He was sent to the Professional School in Brive, in the Vichy Zone, and was arrested during the big roundup in that zone. Vichy handed him over to the Gestapo, and he was deported on convoy 26 of August 31, 1942.
